Nothing's confusing about it. I simply meant that I don't understand why it would be included in the first place, instead of going to the failbar.

It's a secret. It's not complex or terribly original, but it is a opinion on a fandom topic. The only reason I could see it going tot he failbar is if you made the argument that it's the opposite side of the banned "I'd hit it" type of secrets. But so far "I think they're ugly" secrets are still allowed.

I'm... really not confused, though. I'm not sure why you're acting offended (OP maybe?), but my comment really wasn't directed towards the secret itself -- it was more of a general FANDOMSECRETS HOW DOES IT WORK.

I'm not offended, I was amused.

In the future, general comments should go in general comments!

F!S is so hard up for secrets since the lj move and the publication time debacle that it needs every secret it can get. Move back to lj!

Give it a rest, anon. We've been on DW for months now, and the community is smaller, but still active and thriving.

Its dying slowly and by inches. What does it take to get you guys to admit this was a bad move? Hit the undo button while the community is still big enough to make a comeback from.

I think coming here was a good move. LJ's updates left us with a terrible format for comments. LJ is slowly dying, anyway.

No, it does. Because this anon brings up this same argument so very often, and swears that FS is dying, and it's nowhere near death with 1300 comments yesterday, the day before, a thousand before that, 1100, 1200, 1400...

I couldn't disagree more. Just because someone has an opinion that differs from the majority that they stubbornly stick to it, doesn't give people the right to say such things.

Also, how do you know that it's the same person? I've seen a lot of anonymous comments in the past saying that FS is dying and so forth, and it's not like they're always prefaced with "oh hey I'm that same guy".

People have the right to say whatever they want. That's how this thing works. That anon (and yes it's clearly the same one) says something stupid, and we tell them how stupid it is.

I think that's bullshit. Just because people have "the right to say whatever they want" (a comment I don't even agree with, though I know most Americans seem to think it), doesn't mean it's okay.

And you know what? It's not "clearly the same one". I can say this because I have posted anonymously in the past, saying I missed LJ -- and I did so purely because I didn't want to be ganged up for "saying something stupid".

That said, this has quickly proven to be utterly pointless. I won't be replying any more than this.

It's because any time Disney is mentioned and Aladdin is mentioned, there are hardly ever any people who express a dislike for his looks. Most are flailing over him and saying he's hot. OP probably was afraid to admit that for fear of being dogpiled.
