Not on tumblr. It would be a bad choice for something like this. Even Deviantart would be better, because at least their layout allows people to create different folders for different issues and it's far easier to find and read an individual page in the gallery. Some webcomics, such as Lackadaisy, post a copy of their comic there.

Thirding. Tumblr is a bitch to navigate. Even if you allow "Sort chronoligicall" and don't put up any non comic posts, it's still in a shitty format for that kinda thing. Deviant art works much better.

it cuts off at around 300, so maybe if the webcomic doesn't surpass that and the artist never ever posts or reblogs anything else...
