I know. I mean, Moriarty is a costume away from being an Adam West's Batman villain. He's that camp and for this version of Sherlock, I love it.

Like if Sherlock and the rest of the cast broke out in song and turned the show into a musical, I would not be surprised.

On a different version of ACD's Sherlock Holmes like Guy Ritchie's or CBS' take, that would be so off. Not to mention off putting. But on Moffat's version, it's perfectly at home.

You may have singlehandedly made it possible for me to watch BBC Moriarty again. Thank you. I shall know now that whenever he appears it is time to cant my head (or my TV) at a ridiculous angle and reach for the popcorn before Batman and Robin start climbing the side of the building and Some Celebrity pops a head out of the window to ask for a cup of sugar...
