Many people have a favorite curse, even if it doesn't make sense in every situation. It would be worse if he used a different word or phrase every time. Like what the hell, Dean, did you swallow a profanity dictionary?

Agreed. My favorite curse is "shit," and variations there of. It doesn't work that well at insulting people, but it's still my go-to.

haha, this. I have a tendency to add "-ass" to things (like "long-ass book" or whatever) and my partner teases me by applying the word as a prefix to the next word (eg, "ass book?"). It rarely makes any sense, but it gets my point across. (Granted, I pretty much have swallowed a profanity dictionary and come up with all sorts of weird curses and insults, but I still do have some favorites.)

It would feel really weird if Dean suddenly stopped using it. It's sort of like a verbal tic, and it's very distinctly him.
