I think it's so weird that people prefer Marvel over DC or vice versa when so many writers and artists work for both companies

They're both equally good/shitty

While it's true there's a lot of overlap in their staff, I think Marvel's editorial board is consistently stupider than DC's. (Not that DC's board isn't fucking dumb at times too.) Marvel will often have a really good team working on a book, building up some really good material, only for the editors to reassign everyone and completely ignore what they came up with and start a new team.

Yeah, not, DC is so much more shitty, remember the fiasco with Batgirl when Gail Simone was fired? or Jim Lee/Dan Didio and their problems with the artists?(yeah, I know she come back, but my point remain.)

I feel they take turns being shittier than the other. For quite a while, Marvel was a huge freakin' mess. And now I think DC has taken over, starting with their whole reboot deal.
