Like I said, I don't agree with her about everything. I especially don't when it comes to this point OP is stating about masculine female characters. But I'm not going to discard all of her videos because of just one I don't agree with. I don't think that's fair to do to anyone. And it's not just Anita who's gotten this kind of behavior. I've seen other youtube users get shut down by people because there's one thing people didn't agree with about them that they might have said 3 years ago. Example: Lacigreen. :/

I think it's a bit of a different situation if one disagrees with certain themes that keep popping up. There's a difference between saying, "this person said one thing that I disagreed with one time, so I'm going to stop supporting them," and saying, "this person routinely presents views that I find to be problematic, so I'm going to stop supporting them."

Well I do agree that this is different, but I've often seen the former with people rather than the latter. It's like they expect people who are involved in social and political issues to be 100% perfect. When often that isn't the case.

That does happen, sure, and I agree that it's wrong.

...so I guess we just agree. Well that's cool!

Sometimes it's just that a person has certain things which are absolute dealbreakers for them. If that one thing they don't agree with is something that's a big deal to that person, and the youtuber/blogger/whoever hasn't changed their opinion, then that one thing can cast a major pall over the rest of the content.
