5. Sadly, there IS a live-action Archie comics movie. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Archie:_To_Riverdale_and_Back_Again) I saw it on the TV years ago. It sucked. T_T

[identity profile] ovendoor.livejournal.com 2007-09-05 11:11 pm (UTC)(link)
BECAUSE WHILE I WAS TRYING TO PICK ONE, I FOUND IT SUPER FUNNY TO GIVE YOU A DETENTION SLIP FOR A BIRTHDAY PRESENT. GO FIGURE 8U

There is a live-action movie. Archie: To Riverdale and Back Again.

Since we're playing Sexuality Police over here, I can say I think a large portion (though certainly not the majority!) of 'heterosexuals' are only completely heterosexual because of a heterocentrist norms in society, and how homosexuality and positive homosexual characters that are not either comic relief, villains, or 'victims' are pretty much nonexistent and invisible in the media, and we're told all of our life that only the opposite gender can truly take care of us and fulfill the family status quo!

But then again that would be being judgmental and pretty retarded to assume such a thing about a large majority of people.

I am not attacking you or anything, but honestly I just cringe whenever anyone says anything about people's sexualities that they don't know in general.

REPRESENT!

...I'm a loser, ignore me.

[identity profile] threepwillow.livejournal.com 2007-09-05 11:12 pm (UTC)(link)
MOSTLY BECAUSE TAMAKI LOOKS LIKE SPEEDWAGON

okay I'm done.

[identity profile] sleeves.livejournal.com 2007-09-05 11:13 pm (UTC)(link)
LOL YOU BEAT ME TO IT. IN ONE MINUTE. HAHAHA.

[identity profile] slatterly.livejournal.com 2007-09-05 11:17 pm (UTC)(link)
15. Don't feel bad! I don't read smut either. I want to read something that actually has to do with the CHARACTERS, not some random sex that anyone could be having.

23. Haruhi = love. I adore that show, really, but it wouldn't be half as neat without the genderbending. Some people are just dumb/want the boys all to themselves.

27. B-b-but Excel Saga is wonderful!

(Anonymous) 2007-09-05 11:19 pm (UTC)(link)
16. That's great for you, but there are some of us that /prefer/ being inside for different reasons. Bad allergies, sensitive eyes, allergic to sunlight, there are a lot of reasons why people would choose it.

There are these things, they're called "hobbies", and people like to spend time doing those hobbies. Whether it's an unhealthy amount of time or not, it's entirely up to the individual how they want to spend their time.

[identity profile] dropsofgleam.livejournal.com 2007-09-05 11:19 pm (UTC)(link)
LOL, then. *pets*

1. so being fandom makes you fat AND anorexic.

9. wordpie

15. unfortunately, it does.

28. lol. lose. don't even start with the damn statistics for online hobbies where PEOPLE OF LIKE MIND AND PROCLIVITIES ASSEMBLE. you can't seriously be that stupid to see that statistics don't work like that.

[identity profile] rilani.livejournal.com 2007-09-05 11:20 pm (UTC)(link)
15. YESSSSSSS. I LOVE YOU LETS MAKE 400 BABIES. :'D

16. I'd say deja vu but this has happened more than once before. Already been done. ;)

10 and 27. Sometimes I think these secrets are bunched together for fun.

I agree D:

28- o.O

Maybe because of the beautiful women in anime/tv?

As for bisexuality...because of the more diverse/accepting nature of things?

I know a few lesbians other than me, but it's not the majority. ._.
ouo: (Urinetown; Love)

[personal profile] ouo 2007-09-05 11:21 pm (UTC)(link)
22. Yay for musicals, and double yay for Urinetown! ♥

[identity profile] jukebox-hero.livejournal.com 2007-09-05 11:23 pm (UTC)(link)
2. WORD. Rikkai > Seigaku.

4. I love your dream, too! XD

7. I rarely do anymore. Every secret there is either about eating disorders, cutting, or angst. It's boring.

23. That's the reason I love Haruhi so much. She's genderless, and that's awesome.

[identity profile] friendshipbeam.livejournal.com 2007-09-05 11:24 pm (UTC)(link)
I think it's because their fandoms open their minds and make them realize that it's okay to be what they are, therefore increasing the ratio of coming out. That is, if the same rules apply to closets as wardrobes.
ext_197528: (Default)

[identity profile] kurenai-tenka.livejournal.com 2007-09-05 11:25 pm (UTC)(link)
...or ya know.

D) Happen to be lesbians and happen to be in fandom at the same time. It isn't relative. STFU

[identity profile] tenshinofushigi.livejournal.com 2007-09-05 11:25 pm (UTC)(link)
Agreed. Those songs are amazing. And I lust for Chauvelin.

[identity profile] luisa-f.livejournal.com 2007-09-05 11:26 pm (UTC)(link)
12. I'm the same, in the books I don't feel any sort of attraction to him [or Lucious or Snape], but in the movies they're fucking sexy, they just casted some really hot actors to play them.

16. Wonderful secret, taking into account this is fandom secrets I'm sure you didn't mean to make it as wanky as possible in the least.

23. She is awesome, the way she's so open to everything, doesn't judge, and is so accepting. I guess it's the obligatory "she's the female character ruining the yaoi fangirl dream" hatred.

[identity profile] allira-dream.livejournal.com 2007-09-05 11:28 pm (UTC)(link)
28. I think it's part of being in the internet. Although you are coming out, you are, most of the times, doing it in a safe-enough environment, even if in the end you find out that you were just going through a phase. You are relatively safe. Much safer than, say, if you fear that your parents/family WON'T react okay to this.

(Anonymous) 2007-09-05 11:28 pm (UTC)(link)
But what are your thoughts on yaoi?
