It's Reggie not Richie :D but I agree about the Archie thing.

28. I have no idea, either, but I meet more bisexuals in fandom and on the internet than I do lesbians, anyways. Just bisexuals that are dating girls. I think the internet has been proven to lower your inhibitions in general, and a lot of what attracts you about someone, especially online, can be an emotional thing or whatever. I'm not one to judge someone else's relationship, but it could be that these girls connect much easier emotionally with other women than with men on the internet or in real life.

It's not too much of a statistical oddity, so much of it is social constructionism. It's a statistical oddity that so many men were homosexuals in Greece. It's a statistical oddity that in the Victorian Era and not but a couple of centuries ago, a large portion married women had a woman lover on the side. It's all about what is and what isn't okay in society at the time. The internets has its own society. It is an oddity in itself :D

27. I feel the same way about Ouran but I just let people think what they think :(

26. D'aww that's like one of my favourite friendships. I think it's pretty underrated as a friendship and as a pairing, anyways, but Gaara is hard to see in a romantic relationship in my eyes anyways.

I think you should be able to be honest with your friend, unless she's lame and would get butt hurt about it. As long as you don't bash the pairing I don't see many issues.

As a gay woman I'd agree with your theory, especially since many of the gay people in fandom may not be out in real life.
