11. Some people just say sorry a lot to avoid confrontation. Chances are it's not supposed to be whatever gimmick you seem to think it is.

14. There are some fandoms that are like that for me, too. It's not that it feels wrong, but just that it feels like...unnatural. Like with Eureka 7 or something, most of the main characters are already paired off heterosexually and I already like those pairings so I don't really bother looking for subtext, etc. I don't necessarily think it makes you a homophone, that you don't want to slash one series.

16. I seriously doubt anyone would want your pity. If someone is fulfilled by internet life, I think they can have as much of it as they want. I'd rather be outside than on the computer all the time, but it's a personal choice, imo.

22. OMFG I WANNA SEE THE LITTLE MERMAID SO BAD. I think there are plenty of people who agree with you, don't worry about being all "hardcore" or whatever.

28. IDK, but I think I've seen that trend too. Maybe it's because a different type of person is attracted to LJ/fandom in general. As far as I've seen, the more adult members (like who participate in hogwarts_elite, for a random example) don't often list their sexuality in their profiles. I don't think it's a defining characteristic, so it just seems weird to me that it would even go in a profile/general info/friends only entry? But that's just me.
