23. Haruhi kind of bores me. It's not that she's a girl, it's that uhhhhh she's Haruhi. She's in the host club, she wants to be a lawyer, she's hard-working......... that's about it. Uh, great. Good for her? Nothing in that interests me as a friend/significant other/whatever the hell. She's just another uhhh, nice ordinary studious type that I wouldn't glance at twice?

Like you said, she's the straight-man. She's supposed to be the logical, dull one that beats everybody over the head with common sense. And she does. So what's wrong with thinking she's dull?

OP of 23 here. I meant that I don't like hearing people say that she's dull because she was the exact opposite of dull to me, since I'd never seen anyone like her (and by extension like me) in something like that before.

I relate to her in the same way the secret-poster does, and I still think she's kind of dull. I wish they had done a little more with her rather than have her just be the generic straight man/woman(/person?).

I mean, yeah, I'll agree that the uhh concept of the genderless girl is great? It's just that uhh, she was Haruhi. And Haruhi's booooring andfgkjadghdkhf like in Ouran it was alright because she HAD the crazy strange people TO play the straight-thing to, but without them...

Nobody, seriously nobody, would watch a show of just Haruhi. She's just not interesting enough ahfgkajdfkjf
