Though in a certian way it might be like that as well, after all, I think sexuality is really difficult to grasp.
Anyway, what I mean is that, it's like full everywhere of dark-emo-goth pretendtobe lesbian in the whole net, and most of the time they go around saying "lol I'm like, ultrasuperlesbian, I did this and this and then this and that with 34343 girls" and then in like, 40 entry before you see how she talked about her and her boyfriend, and after talking with a circle of her friends you get to know either that all of her friends are like her, or that she's saying a tons of lies and she at most kissed her best friend.
I really do think that such a thing is really offensive, because it's making people who seriously are gay losing credibility, 'cause, honestly, whenever I see a dark-emo-goth-punk-whatever girl that say "you know, I'm lesbian" the first thing I get to think is "yes of course, who isn't these days?". It's not even a matter of numbers ('cause honestly, it's not like it would be impossible that in a given place where there are 30 people, 25 are gay, if you get what I mean), it's a matter of how these people act.
The OMG LESBIAN trend, here in italy, started from when TATU became popoular, and at the time most of the suddendly lesbian girls were casually their fans. I don't know if I was clear with what I meant, but if not please let me know and I'll try to explain it with different words
