(Anonymous) 2013-02-26 12:48 am (UTC)(link)I've been hesitant to join in the "who will die first?!?!" discussions, because they seem so ghoulish, but it haunts the back of my mind anyway. All I know is that if Nasir goes first, we will finally see an Achilles-sans-Patroclus type of meltdown. And I've kind of been wanting to see that ever since 2004's Troy decided to take the whole "cousins" route. (If Plato and Aeschylus shipped it, it's practically canon, damn it.)

And there is no way their deaths won't be horrible and heartbreaking, but I'm hoping they at least die side by side.

If Nasir goes first I hope that we do see an Achilles/Patroclus (or a book Loras/Renly) meltdown, just because Dan would own it and make me sob for days. But I'd rather they go toghter/die holding each other because I am a massive sap (ex. Zabuza and Haku from Naruto).
Yet I would be most happy if they lived ;>;
