Dreamcatcher. The movie is good to start with, when it's about the four friends, and generally acceptable for most of the rest of it (I can't remember, I never felt the urge to rewatch it), but I loved the book. It's ridiculous, but it's still one of my secret faves, shit weasels and all. The ending of the movie is pure unmitigated garbage! They turned one of the main characters into an alien, for god's sake! I don't remember that even being hinted at in the books and I don't approve of the change. I'm pretty sure I spent the two days after watching it ranting about that fucking ending.
