I love Stahl and try to use him as much as possible, but he constantly DIES for me. Did you pair him with anyone? I liked him and Sully.

Since I'm playing through as a female OC, I pair him with my character most of the time and we pretty much eat everybody for breakfast ;)
But he's also good with Cherche, if I wasn't claiming him that's who I'd pair him with. I'm having the same problem you're having only with Vaike. Seems like no matter WHAT I do, that guy just cannot keep his act together!

Yeah, Vaike barely gets by with the skin of his teeth, even with his extra HP. He's a bit better now that he's promoted + a bunch of levels, but I have to leave him behind way too often.

Ooh, I should try Cherche with him. Admittedly I haven't tried him with many girls except Sully, but she does give him a lot of extra surviveability. ;)
