Pretty normal reaction imo. There were some damn pretty people on that show. (And when they weren't pretty, they were cute. Etc etc.)

Yes yes! Teyla when she grins pretty much destroys any chance of coherent thought on my part. LOL

Aww, Teyla with baby. (I don't even remember the babies name... Oops.)

I'm not typically a fan of baby subplots, but I wish we'd had more scenes with the team and the baby.

And I wish we'd gotten to know Kanaan instead of just having him thrust on us as the father of her baby after the fact. :( I'm glad they didn't make a team member the dad, but I wish Kanaan had been a known quantity.

Me too. She talks about him a bit in the books I think. She might've even visited him. (I don't remember the books that well, tbh.)

(The last ones I read were very Teyla/Sheppard though. After that I had no desire to read more. >.>)

Books, you say? I didn't know there were tie in novels for the show. :)

My ten-year old is pretty invested in Sheppard/Teyla. LOL She really did not like when Sheppard kissed Chaya, the Ancient they found in season one who protected her former planet. I think the words, "That's just wrong, Mom," came out of her mouth. LOL

Yup! There are definitely books, and a good many of them. Most of them are (as expected) not all that great, but there are a couple that are rather fun and well-written. Most of them though, you'd probably be better off reading fanfic.

I don't think anyone was all that thrilled with Sheppard/Chaya, no matter who they shipped! Hell, neither was Rodney. (Not even saying that as a McShep shipper...though I am.)

Heeeeee. I ship pretty much everybody with everybody on that show, but there's a special place in my heart for McShep. I wonder sometimes how much of the glorious subtext of that pairing was deliberate; especially the way Flanigan plays Sheppard, you know?

I'm almost certain I read somewhere that Joe said he sometimes played Shepard as being in love with Rodney. It sounds totally bogus, but it might've been at a con? Was trying to find it but with no success. Not really sure what to google...

Ah well, don't take that seriously since I have no proof (and even if he said it, he could've been joking), but proof or no I believe it. (To some extent.)

Too late! I will hug it and love it and name it George. LOL
