You're missing the whole point. Nobody is saying that the bronies who have actually done/supported terrible things deserve a second chance; they're saying that not all bronies have done/supported terrible things.

Then I only hope you can have an open mind about it when you meet individual people. I've got an LJ friend who sees a person's "group" first, their individuality second- may you never have that kind of ugliness poison you as it did her.

Totally agreed. I prefer to judge people on their own merits. If they call themselves something I don't like, I at least try to find out why. There are almost no grouping labels that don't have a mix of good and bad representation.
