(Anonymous) 2013-02-27 12:01 am (UTC)(link)I didn't realize there was a problem with being called the United States of America. Since they are states which are united and are in North America. I mean, I really wouldn't have a problem if Canada had been called the United Provinces and Territories of America (Even Québec), because hey, that's exactly what we are. Personally, I've always found "America" pretty self centred, but then, look who we're talking about.
