Fandom is tame compared to the old school IBMers who touted their OS over Win 3.x, Win 95, or anything MS.

Trust me, I knew these guys, worked with them at IBM. They were fanatics. Ship wars have nothing on them.

Then later Win 98, 2000, on, an old guard of Win 3.x formed.

Now it's Win XP.

Some people take their operating systems very seriously.
