Don't feel bad. I've been playing these games since I was 6 years old, and never once given a thought to Tails' real name. I knew it was Miles, but I never had any idea that it was Miles Prower, and even if I had, I don't think I would have seen the pun there because he is just that ingrained in my child psyche that I wouldn't even consider it. SO you are definitely not alone.
