I can't think of any great stories to share, but cooking is awesome! Keep practicing and you'll find yourself able to branch out and experiment. Also, don't be afraid to try new foods. It's amazing how many thing I thought I hated, only to find I loved them when I started cooking them for myself. Either my tastebuds changed with age, or it was a matter of finding the right way to prepare them.
