Pretty sure it was. I got a feeling JK was rushed just a little too much with the last book. She had a shitload of stuff to tie up, and she did a good job for most of it, but that "epilogue" and various other things just felt like, if they'd given her just a few more weeks, we would've had a more polished finale.
