Just wondering, can we stop talking about them for like five minutes.

It seems half the feminist blogs I'm involved with will instantly leap to 'how are the MRAs going to interpret this??' and a terrible hypothetical of their worst possible argument.

And it's like, who cares what they think, they're a tiny minority of weirdos. Do racialicious and etc have people jumping in to every post with 'I bet the KKK have terrible opinions on this!'. You're stopping real discussion by sidetracking into hypotheticals and ignoring having to deal with any actual criticisms.

I actually do believe Racialicious does, but that's because Racialicious is a big deal. Little Tumblr X doesn't really have a reason to.

But if you define yourself by the one thing you're going to obsess about haters no matter how stupid the haters are. Racialicious people are smart, but "Hey I Just Got An A In Women's Studies So I'm An Activist Now Let Me Show You How Little I've Read" is going to have a harder time with this.
