I know that feel. Especially when people waste time blathering on and you're on a limit. I can't control how long they take aaaaghhhhhh. I wish I had advice or something, but I never did get good at dealing with it.

Ugh this. Even when the customer is nice and all, I really don't want to hear anyone's reasoning/life story - especially if we are busy. I know that sounds crass but meh..

I'm so sorry anon! I once worked for a company that answered calls for people inquiring about making appointments for apartment complexes, and a man called in to confirm a schedule and that's all he needed to do. I was stuck listening to him bitch about his current neighborhood being filled with terrible teenagers for like an hour.
