So do something with your life. If you feel like a nobody, change and become a somebody. Never too late.

I'm sorry to hear that you feel like that. A few years ago, my friend was talking about how young Lionel Messi was and it was amazing with how much he had accomplished and for a few moments I felt pretty lame that I am a few years older than him and hadn't done anything with my life.

But you're still young and it's never too late to do something with your life.

Also, on the flip side, as long as you're happy with your life you don't have to feel like you need to do something huge with your life to feel worthwhile.

If you feel like your life is lacking something, again, it's never too late to pick up a hobby that can be interesting or fun for you. Best of luck!

Being successful and "doing something with your life" shouldn't be equated with fame. You might never achieve this guy's brand of success, but you can be just as happy, accomplished, and important. And if you're not in the place you wish you were, why not work on it? :) You might just be a late bloomer, and very few people in their late teens/very early 20's actually know what they want to do with their lives.

I completely agree with you. A meaningful life does not require fame at all. I'll never be famous, but I feel very fulfilled in my chosen profession.

This. Famous people aren't always that successful, either.

I definitely get this. I feel the same way when I see celebrities who are close to my age, even if I don't know (or "know") them.

But if it makes you feel better, people like this are a small minority. Most people don't become famous (which is kind of the definition of what it means to be famous in the first place).

Being successful=/=being famous. If you're a doctor, you've done a hell of a lot more with your life than -insert celebrity here- and you get a lot more respect from me.

I'm surprised this didn't failbar'd as an omgiknowthem.

Anyway, I'm sorry you feel that way, but you're still young. No need to feel bad about yourself for not being Youtube famous, anyway. :)

What else has he done beyond his youtube fame? I haven't followed him in some time.
