What is everyone doing this weekend? My sister will be coming over to my house and we will catch up on Project Runway. Sadly, we are old and boring people. -_-

Anyone else doing anything more exciting?

I'll be driving a few states south to pick up my mother, who has spent the past week or so at her mothers helping her out after my grandfather died. Drive down Saturday, drive back home Sunday. It'll be a long weekend.

I'll probably try to finally beat Metal Gear Rising and fail miserably. :( I wanna restart but I also want to beat the game first so I can use the new game+. DAMMIT, I JUST WANNA PLAY. (Or go play MGS2 and bask in the Snake/Otacon adorableness and Raiden's hilarity. "WE'VE MANAGED TO AVOID DROWNING.")

HOW FAR ARE YOU? I'm stuuuck in file R-06, sob. I really don't want to restart because like you, I want to carry all my shit over and do Hard mode or something. AND I'M CLOSE I KNOW IT GAH.

(MGS2 is sooo tempting too, I want to see not!badass Raiden again. LOL)

Basically: I'll be doing the same thing this weekend. And working. And ME3.

:( You're so close! Isn't R-06 the Jetstream Sam battle? KEEP TRYING BB! If you need nanopaste, there's apparently some on the stage - you'll be told about it on the codec if you call.

I'm close too...I'm stuck on the very last boss battle. (And boy is it a DICK!) I watched it on youtube so I could get a better idea of what I should be doing but I don't have a full inventory of nanopaste and to get more I have to do something that I fail majorly at. Also, there's no way I'm making it through this fight without nanopaste, so it's just going to take a lot of trial and error, and I've been putting it off...

(Yea! And we've both been needing to play the HD versions anyway, so it gives us an excuse for achievements. :D)

ME3 DLC? For obvious reasons I won't be playing it, but I should at least watch them on youtube I guess...

Yeah it's Sam, and I suuuck, rofl. there's one nanopaste under a box and another..somewhere on the other side of the road. I came in the battle with none and I've basically been evading.. and evading.. and evading... and hitting him when I can until I get hit and die. (I find that he parries my parry. Nooooo!)

Oh man, going through another boss or two is going to be hard. Way to kill my ego, Platinum! Yet it's been oh so fun. I just wish I'd pay attention to and try to find more nanopaste. ~~I've never had a game frustrate and arouse me at the same time THANKS KONAMI~~

(Yes all of the trophies/achievements! Lord knows I need more -- I actually wanted to platinum MGRR but I don't think that's going to happen D:)

Yeah, the multiplayer add-on came out this week (it's always free), but the last single player DLC is next week. MY BODY IS NOT READY :(

:( Dammit, Sam. I thought his battle was fun but I went into it with full nanopaste too (have for every boss except the last ones, and...whatever that mode is that allows you to see objects in is VERY helpful with that), so I don't think I had to do it over again. I think I parried a lot in that battle but it's a bit of a blur, so maybe get the two nanopaste and just keep trying. You'll get there eventually!

The next one is actually easier than I expected, just...ah...Zandatsu. (That's not a spoiler, lol.) But yea, it's an incredibly fun game and I can't wait to play again, and usually I don't feel that way immediately after more actiony games. Def work on looking around for more nanopaste though; it makes things SO much easier. ~~Bahaha, yessssssssss.~~

Oh yeah, augmented something mode! I don't use it enough admittedly, haha. But I think I CANN do it if I keep evading/parrying and NOT GETTING HIT because he gets me 2-3 times in a row if I get caught. Honestly I find myself in constant ninja run in that battle.

Ahaha, I'll keep that in mind. I really do love this game and.. I also want to actually give the unique weapons a real chance next time since I put all of my BP into HF Blades in this run. And I want to make Raiden run around in that Desperado armour some more. .. ;)

(LOL YES I WILL. If I ever get close even, because platinuming involves Revengeance mode :|)

Yeah probably not. It just feels weird that this will be the last content ever with Shepard and this group of ME characters. :(

Ninja run is only a problem if you run into him instead of stopping at a safe distance, because he'll slam you down. I did that several times like an idiot then told myself "YOU NEED TO BE MORE CAREFUL". D: And he's quite fast! That doesn't help.

Agrrrrrrrreed. All the alt weapons look fun to play with and I haven't tried any of them yet. :/ It'll be fun to see how different they are from the HF blade. (Mmm, Desperado armor.)

...This is probably why I've been cheerfully ignoring the DLC tbh, lol. The only reason I heard about it was my tumblr dashboard and even then I was like, "DNW, GO AWAY!"

Yeah, if I ninja run in a straight line, or TO him, I'm fucked, so I always try to run around him or... something. Usually it works. Not always. :v

I played with the polearm a bit, maybe for half a file before sticking to the HF Blade since I'd put so many points into it. Didn't do much with the Kai and haven't even tried Sundowner's yet. (I haven't even bought all the armor options yet, but I did buy the MGS4 one. Ah nostalgia.)

Yeah, it's a mission and a chance to see all your old squadmates and romances etc. I'm both excited and sad.

Haven't beat him yet? I still haven't tried the final boss again... I'm totally being a wuss about this.

(I think I might have one armor option bought. I think I spent the rest on health/skills/other shit. Ah well, that's what new game + is for I guess.)

My colleague's getting married today, and the reception is tomorrow. I only care because she's invited some parents of the kids we teach, and I can't wait to see them in fancy clothes <3

I'm working this weekend, which is never fun, but oh well.

BTW Have fun watching PR. This is one of those seasons where I don't really care for any of the designers. =( Hope you enjoy it, though. I really enjoyed the unconventional challenge. Most of the designs were really good.

Besides that, take my doggy to her last day of training, clean, and job hunt.

You have me beat, I think. Food shopping first thing in the morning tomorrow, then 48 hours of work work work! If I've done well enough by Sunday evening I might go and see The Hobbit because this is the last week it's on at my local cinema, but that's probably as good as it will get. Oh, I'll be trying new recipes out this weekend, though, in between research! Root vegetable gratin, slow roasted tomatoes and cookies (not all destined for the same meal), mmm mmm.

My partner's mum is finally taking us to the aquarium, after years of saying she wanted to take us :D

Now we just have to make sure we actually go to the aquarium and not the science museum...

Ah ha ha. No. My daughter will be gone all day Sat. at a color guard competition, my SO will be at work all day, it'll just be me and the cats and the dog!

I'm house sitting for my parents, so I'm having some people over to hang out tomorrow. Tonight I have to finish the project for work I've been working on since January. Aaaah!

It's supposed to be cold this weekend and snow tomorrow so I'm planning on staying in. I worked late every day this week so I need to catch up on cleaning/laundry and I want to organize some things, but other than that I'll probably end up just watching stuff I've DVRed lately/mess around online/possibly try to catch up on some reading, and I want to bake something. I'm boring, too!

Iunno exactly what I'm doing yet, except possibly running some errands that in and of themselves will be kinda boring but will give me some things I want to do some fun things at home. I want to go get the thumb trigger on my horn repaired so I can actually play it - it's been gathering dust for a couple years. And I want to go buy some craft materials for some stuff I'm working on that's fun and I might be able to sell!

I'm home for spring break meaning I can SLEEP and don't really have any obligations. I'll probably walk the dog and do some veging out. The downside is that my computer's battery is straight-up broken - fortunately I can use my dad's netbook since I'm at home, but I'm cut off from Steam, Spotify and my roms =( And I just got hooked on Mass Effect D: But it has the internet, and I'll be working on my hobby of researching/headcanoning/inferring/compiling ALIEN BIOLOGY. I fucking love alien biology omg. Also on the bright side, my sister is hosting a Japanese exchange student which is super fun and our family will probably do something fun with her this weekend. And she's making a special dessert on Sunday because it's Girls' Day in Japan :3
