Well, since it seems a few reads lurk here, I thought I'd mention today's page. Again, spoilers.

I'm really starting to think that Max might be a villain. (Not by choice of course) I know some people think that he's a medium now, but I'm wondering if the spirit is just speaking through him with help of the bat. Hmmmm.

Definitely thinking that the bat spoke to the Doorman through Max. Possession can happen in the Paranatural universe (or it was at least implied, if we follow the racist whale-frog intentions to Max's dad), but the author didn't say that unknowing-possession-through-inanimate-objects could work.

Also, if Max can do... that, then what about Issac? I'm sure that the spirit possessing/inhabiting inside him would talk to the Doorman at least once, and from the looks of it the Doorman seems pretty okay of Issac so far, or maybe that's just him being happy at Issac-the-human instead of Issac-the-spirit-within...

Man, that's a lot..

I'm not in the camp that thinks Max is a medium+using a tool. I'm guessing the spirit inside the bat is the time!snake from the last chapter.

Me too. However, I don't think that the time!snake is the spirit inside Max's bat. I'm more in the camp of "let's-see-how-it-goes", and also:

Time!snake + Metal bat = Magnet powers?
