Tbf, she's a bit older now. The story skipped three years ahead. Teenagers her age are portrayed doing much more than this on TV all the time.

Given that they have a deadline, it would make sense for them to get in practice early. I still do my best to avoid fanworks in which they do get started what I consider would be too early for a human for personal squick reasons, and I doubt sincerely that Hussie's ever going to confirm one way or another if any of them did.
