The photos were stolen when someone hacked the photographer's site. They weren't intended to be viewed by all and sundry.

Just because someone has a digital photo taken does not mean it is suddenly public domain. The lack of respect and simple human decency society displays nowadays is really quite sad.

Yeah if they'd been taken on film that wouldn't have happened. Being in the public eye means being at much greater risk for this sort of thing and any celebrity who doesn't know it is an idiot.

Oh, so if there's a greater risk for something, then that makes it okay?

Women in the military often get raped. The risk of that is pretty great, so I guess they should know that and accept it, and any military woman who expects to not be raped is an idiot.

In the US military it's more likely a female will falsely accuse someone of rape than actually be raped. At least that's the way it seems because in my 13 years I saw it happen five times and never once did someone in any of my units report a rape that actually happened.
