14.) Alternate universes and crossovers. I can never find anyone who writes them good enough and then all end up as MST3000-fodder.
16.) For the love of Baphomet, kids - exactly WHY do you wish you were in (or convert your town into) Midgar? If I had a dime for every person (who said that) I pelted in the head with a thrown Doc Marten....

4. I like people who do weird things. Like Fluff. Cactuar/Seph FOREVER.
5. It's like the only place I can get to at work. I'm on there ALL day.
6. Me too... If only it was that simple.
12. I know what you mean. I don't mind it as much though. Sometimes I want a quick RP, but mainly I want ones to last. Someone RP with me. ;-;
14. I try to write them well... I probably suck at it.
16. DO IT!
20. It's why I write, but I don't feel I do them justice either.
21. OMG me too! Then I could have a nearly-gay knight in shining purple armor!

17. WORD (I love both)

2. I hate how everyone has to end up convienently paired with each other in fandom. There's an arc of Final Fantasy VII stories that I still do love but eventually it just digressed into the authors trying to pair everyone up with someone else ... and somehow having it work out. But it's true. There's no good het out there really. It's sad.
4. Yeah, that's insanely rude.
12. I can't stand that. I like my RPs to be the kind that I'm not stuck at my computer staring at it waiting for the next response. The very few I actually RP with these days, we run off and get take out or annoy our pets, or mingle around the house mindlessly and then come back thirty minutes later.
13. Yeah ... I kind of thought I wouldn't have the time once I grew up ... how wrong I was. I don't dedicate as much time to it these days as I did about two years ago, but I'm hardly out of it.
14. Agreed. AUs can be great if someone could actually write them well. Sadly, most people think an AU should be throwing the characters into a completely implausible situation and putting them in highschool ... and labling it an AU. AUs should subtle shifts in things that can alter everything, not an excuse to do whatever the hell someone wants to do with a character.
19. Mine too. I loved Edward.
20. I know how you feel.
21. I've had bisexual boyfriends, or just guys who were so involved in fan stuff that they just didn't care about the yaoi. My best friend and her boyfriend relate to Roy Mustang and Maes Hughes leaving me as Riza -- yeah, we're a bit strange at times -- and I asked him one night if it was weird to have a yaoi-ful desktop wallpaper of Hughes and Roy and he was all, 'If Roy was my best mate, sure. But Roy's my girlfried.'
22. I hate people who are like that. What the hell is wrong with a female character, yanno?
24. Yeah. I had a friend like that once. He knew that I have been wanting to do an online manga for years, and I was very supportive ... but then I saw his art. >_>

16. HELL NO BITCH PICK ANOTHER CITY.
-coughs-
No offense? :D
Or uhh, build one!! I'd visit! Just don't do it in MY city.

13. Fandom devours lives and souls.
15. Obsession is an interesting thing. No-one else but the obsessed know just how life-consuming an obsession can be.
17. I love both cute, fluffy anime and disturbing, violent ones. There's nothing disturbing about having a broad range of taste. :3

12. I actually like some people like that who do the occasional one liner/paragraph because it works and it's fast. :)
20. Same. Here.
22. Read above?

6. Oh, man. So would I. XD
7. I like both.
19. One of my favorite movies. ♥
22. Ditto. :\

9. .... If I'd heard their music, I'd probably fangirl squee with you. <3 One can never get enough good J-rock.
10. Then why read them at all? XD I try to leave reviews if it either really catches me with good, or if it catches me with its OMFGWTF-ness.
12. IRC roleplay is in that format, but it's much, much faster-paced. Nice papa-RP is a good thing... unless you're waiting three hours for a post. (I dropped that game FAST.)
13. I'll tell you in two years. :3
15. Ditto.
20. God bless you. Some fic I read makes me cringe so hard at the wild OOCness that it almost hurts. X_x
21. .... I guess I have to count myself lucky, as my boyfriend is straight and thinks my yaoi fangirling is adorable. xD Just remember, compromise makes the world go 'round.

7. I hate OOC!RaitoxL. You know, where they suddenly make Raito so OMGINLOVE with L. And angsty. And L is whimpery buttsecks wanting uke. I don't like Raito and Misa if only because they.. just cannot WORK. Raito is an unfeeling, cruel bastard and it'd be so painfully one-sided. And the next person who tries to tell me that her PAIN will convert Raito to loving her becuase IT'S SO CANON will get strangled. CHARACTERISATION, people. Can you not see there's no way Raito will EVER fall in love? Agh. Sorry.
11. SHINING TEARS. ♥ the theme song was nice. :D
12. I hate it when people constantly go 'poke, poke' and try to get me to reply RIGHT THEN. The more I'm poked, the lesser I feel like writing. I'm not doing only RP if I am online. Especially with lack of time, I'll be doing a hundred things at once. So yeah. I feel you. D:
16. YES. ♥ Midgar for the world!

as if that part matters)6. I think I'd buy them for the pretty bottle ^^;
11. I've seen that game in stores and I've wanted to check it out if that halfway counts ♥
13. I feel the same way. The sad part is, I've hit 20 and I've hardly delved into my fandoms D:
18. You have a big LOL from me :D
22. Pfft, I think most female characters kick so much ass. It's the male characters that I mostly find boring.

14. I've seen some that I like. But some don't even have a passing acquaintance to the universe of the original so much so that I find myself wondering why they just didn't write an original story with their own characters.
16. Are you referring to the Midgar of the game or the Midgar of the movie?
18. That would be a blow to the ego, yes.
19. I loved that movie.
20. Yes, I have that urge as well. Heh.

Also, the Doppelganger (http://jd-divas.com/phoenixe/dopp01.shtml) series by Phoenix E is just freakin' awesome, and it spans several universees, and the great thing about Stargate fandom is that alternate universes are canon! Also, this story is really long and still in progress.
There are several good AU stories in Gundam Wing fandom, but I put that fandom on hold years ago so I don't remember the authors. gwaddiction.com is the best place to find GW fic.
