Surprised that there aren't a lot of Kevin fans out there, he's always been so ubiquitous.

As he says in his adverts for the mobile phone brand, he's the centre of the universe after all.

I feel like his ubiquity might be WHY he doesn't have that many devoted fans. I think people are a lot more likely to be really invested in things that seem marginal, strange, outside of the norm in some way, quirky, particular. and I don't think any of those words really describes Kevin Bacon.

Not as much as I hate Keanu, but close.

On the other hand, I do like Purefoy. He was an awesomely awful Mark Antony.

I'm not a huge KB fan, but this show is fantastic, and he's awesome in it. Best new show of the year.

I've only seen two episodes of this show but I think Kevin is doing a good job with the character. He's interesting. (Also, Shawn Ashmore is all kinds of adorable. HEY BOBBY, HEY!)

That's my thought every time Shawn Ashmore's on screen, haha.

Umm, I had forgotten how much I actually LOVE Kevin Bacon... and then I started watching this shoe.

The shoe might run away if you don't watch it. You've got to keep a close eye on that wily bastard. It's always looking for an leg up.

I'm liking it a lot so far. Especially after they got through the initial shock factor gore and started getting more into the character complexities. Definite love for Kevin Bacon over here :)

While I am not a KB stan, he's amazing in this show. You should definitely start watching this show OP!

I'd suggest marathoning it once this season is done. It's a big connect the dots show, so I think marathoning is the way to watch it. That and waiting for a new episode always sucks since The Following is big on cliffhangers.

I know at least one intensely devoted Kevin Bacon fan, OP, so you are not alone. Like, seen all his movies multiple times, including Tremors, devoted. (Unless you are her, in which case, sorry!)

Tremors (just the first one, dear god) is a fucking masterpiece, okay. Let's not even play, here.

The only problem being that this show sucks major balls. I've tried to get into it, but it's just so head-smashingly stupid.

That is Shawn Ashmore. Jinks is played by Aaron.

I personally can't stand Jinks, and several other characters AA has played, so I was surprised when I thought I saw 'him' on this show and actually liked him.

I keep forgetting to watch this show.

Bacon was pretty cool in Tremors. It was one of the first the best thing ever in a line of many other the best thing evers when I first saw it, so I find I am always entertained by him no matter what he plays. My little sister thinks he's amazing though, and she's borderline stanning for him irl.

The actor was wearing on me at first, because neither he nor the serial serial killer guy were striking me as the intense and charismatic protagonists they were supposed to be, but he won me over in the most recent episode when he was

being the deadpan-snarky offhandly-baddass honey-badger-don't-care of a hostage.

Also, I can't tell you if I'd suggest you try the series. Most of my favorite dramas are procedurals; there's a sensible reason for the team to have something new to do every week. With The Following, it seems likely to run out of story before it runs out of steam.

Unfortunately, the show is awful. It's like if they took one of the worst episodes of Criminal Minds and decided to make a whole series out of it.
