Right. Naturally the show is silly. This is the only reason that Teen Wolf became one of the biggest fandom on tumblr. So many people who hate this silly show and always reblog all these stupid gifs and meta and fanarts and fics about it.

Did you ever watch the show? Especially S2? It's true that the early episodes aren't the best but later it shows so much more. It gives us characters who look happy but are only able to hide their depression. It shows the consequences of abuse (physically and mentally), the death of family members and problems like PTSD. It seems like a happy show but basically you get sucker punched.

Sure the werewolf design is crappy and the computer animation not the best but the actors and the writers are able to show serious themes with a good supernatural plot as main story line.

Dude, I love Teen Wolf but it's a cheesy, silly show and there's nothing wrong with that.

It's a show on MTV, the network that brought to us such high quality shows as Jersey Shore, Teen Mom, and 16 And Pregnant. Of course it was always going to be a silly show, but it can still be fun to watch.

okay I like Teen Wolf and all, but saying that it's "really big on tumblr" as proof that it's something other than silly. It's a cheesy teen show! And that's okay! Not everything needs to be serious and highbrow.

...why are you scrolling through their fics? Couldn't you just look at the fandoms you are interested in? Or are you interested in all fandoms except Teen Wolf?

Okay, that makes sense. I don't usually like doing that, because a lot of fics don't exhaustively tag their scenarios, so I usually don't get much more specific than a character or a category of AU.
