Yeah, I completely understand. Trust me I hide it really well (hence the fact that my only medium is fandomsecrets) there's actually lots of fantards/otaku that openly practice fandom in the military/USMA/ROTC, but I don't for various reasons. Thankyou!

Yeah when I was on active duty, I had at least 3 squad members who had their rooms plastered with manga/anime posters. Also one guy had an obsessions with Selena Gomez.

I don't find anything wrong with it. What I do find wrong is beliefs like noodles who think anyone in the military should be militant minded and nothing else. This shit where they aren't allowed to enjoy hobbies just perpetuates the mental heath issues that are rampant in the military.

I agree as well, everyone should have hobbies and interests. But I also know that not a lot of people (both outside and inside the military) will appreciate my love of (femm)slash and buttsecks.

I know, right? The first time I went LARPing with a friend (as an NPC) the other people in monster camp did away with any stereotypes I might have had about who would participate in a hobby like live action roleplay. Especially this one dude who was offduty special ops. We organized a very effective ambush in the woods.
