I kept making excuses for it up until that point, because like I said, Vincent is my favorite character and I wanted to like his solo game. I had this sinking feeling for the first chunk of the game, and then... Galian Beast happened.

(I actually though Chaos's design was kind of cool, even if it was pretty over-the-top. I'm just as glad Death Gigas and Hellmasker didn't make an appearance, though.)

I get what you mean about denial... I laughed, but I think I might have done the exact same thing :(

(I-I kind of liked Chaos's design too? Of course, you are talking about someone who liked Nero's design too despite knowing how horrendous it was vOv I don't know what they could have done with Hellmasker... cover him in zippers to infinity? cover the chainsaw in gothic designs like the guns??)

I will take that hug, anon. It sucks to have one of your favorites finally get a day in the limelight that is badly written crap.

A quick question for you, fellow Vincent fan: Was the implied romance between Vincent and Shelke creepy as all bloody fuck to you? If yes, then we should be friends.

(Hellmasker was actually my favorite of Vincent's limit breaks. Don't ask me why, I just liked him.)

(I like how out of place he seems, being "inspired" by a horror movie villain, next to the other limits and so on.... UNTIL YOU REALIZE THAT VINCENT'S WHOLE THEME IS HORROR MOVIES FUCK YES :D :D :D)

I bought it, couldn't get through more than a few levels thanks to the shitty controls and camera. Plus what the fuck did they do to Vincent's character model? His hair looks so super greasy and eurrgh.

Also the Galian Beast looks dumb as all hell in that game. Chaos looks dumb too. We went from a big dark purple bat-winged demon to... some skinny blue creature with a red crown, yellow eyes and part of Vincent's wardrobe!? GAAH.

I really like Vincent as a character, though. ;_; I just watched the cutscenes online to see if I'd missed anything by trading this game back in. I hadn't.

It was a total waste of what could have been a hell of a cool game

come on, a final fantasy shooter? starring an ex-turk who gives like no fucks outside of his own angst, blowing shit up and messing up his enemies' day? ah...
