'Functionally cured'. It seems to be going over better than when they said a man was cured of HIV with bone marrow from a Caucasian donor who had ancestors who survived the plague.

I have no idea what you are saying... are you implying that a Caucasian person's ancestors couldn't have survived the plague? that Caucasian bone marrow is somehow unworthy? WHAT ARE YOU SAYING?!

A lot of people got upset because it was implying "The cure for HIV is white people!". When...that wasn't it at all. It would never work as a cure, as BMT come with a lot of hazards.
