I was hoping that eventually EA would group them together and I could buy them that way, because there is nooooo way I'm paying $20-$40 each on 10+ expansion packs.

(I did buy the expansions for the first game, but...yea, I play too many other video games to be doing that now.)

:( I never played Sims 1 or 2, if that cheers you up, haha. I would love if EA grouped the expansion packs together. Paying so much for all the expansions is insane and makes my wallet into a home for moths.

No, of course no! Everyone should get to play them, they're good games. Lol, though I do like Sims 3 better than the original, and I only had a shitty console version of Sims 2, so idk about that one. (They did group together expansions for one and two, I think.)

Yea, I just meant it's either Sims expansions for me or other games. I don't have the money for both. If I did I'd probably play them too, regardless of the ridiculous cost. :( Ah well.

(Custom content does make the base game interesting, though.)

Oh, I'm so sorry, I didn't mean that in a bad way! I just meant this was my first foray into the Sims universe computer wise. I had the PS2 Sims version years ago. It was shitty for sure, haha.

I know that feeling. I'm going to have to give up some game purchases for the Sims :( But right now, for me, it's worth it :)

I bought three expansion packs and four stuff packs for ~$12 last month, from the EA Origin official store :D! Or was it on January? It was Sims 2, but then my computer works with Windows XP, and I don't think I'd be able to install Sims 3 on it.

But yes, since EA discontinued online support for Sims 2 they have had two discount Sims 2 sales, and earlier they had another sale around Christmas time. The only reason I haven't cancelled their newsletter is because I hope to get Bon Voyage and Apartment Life the same way :3

Oh what a steal! I wonder when they'll do it for 3...

I think you can install 3 on Windows XP, you just need the right requirements: http://www.thesims3.com/game/systemreq Not that you need to tho for awhile with all your Sim 2 packs :D

They stomp your plants. It's very annoying. Build a fence to keep them out.

FUCK THOSE ZOMBIES. Now I have fence in all my plants. I already did on some lots because horses like to plants too, but those zombies are relentless. I haven't played a witch yet, but I have a fairy brother and sister and I like them a lot.

Man. Probably Pets because I like that we can play as the animals this time around. XD

SEASONS. Because I like weather.

Yeah seeing summer all the time can get a bit much :/ Is there anything else Seasons does to the game besides change weather? Like add-on wise?

Tbh, I'm not exactly sure. I added a few expansion packs at one time and I didn't get to play too much after I did. Winter is really nice though. You can ice skate (couples can skate together) on ponds and rivers and it's really cute. You can have season related parties and festivals. There are special days each season. The Christmas type holiday gives the kids a day off, if I remember correctly.

Skating with your partner does sound adorable <3 My thinking was that just the atmosphere/graphics would change to reflect the season, haha. I was all "how is that worth it?" Silly me XD

Late Night.

Not because of the vampires or the clubs/celebrities, but because you can live in a city instead of in the middle of nowhere. I like that.

Generations because I hate playing kids and now I can send them the fuck away.
