Why would they? I mean, Rickon has barely been in the books at all, other than as a small child who could barely talk. That's not usually enough to get anyone rooting for you.

And like people above have said, Bran doesn't need to die for her to be queen.

I don't want her to be queen because there is nothing in her character that would imply she would be happy with that kind of life, now that she knows the actual reality of it.
