Breakfast without milk, bread, eggs or fruit?

I keep running out of milk and bread at the same time and I never seem to realise until after the shops shut. I've just done it again, and I don't have eggs either, this time. I'm unlikely to wake up early enough to go to the shop before I have to leave for college (I did to sleep through my alarm anyway!), so I'm a bit at a loss as to what I could eat for breakfast tomorrow, other than dry cereal or peanut butter out of the jar. Does anyone have any suggestions for something I could prepare tonight within an hour or in the morning within twenty minutes?

OH WAIT! I just remembered I have no butter, either. Swell. Any ideas?

Oatmeal? Bake some vegan banana muffins tonight to eat in the morning?

You could make plain bagels as well if you have an oven and some flour, water, salt, sugar, and yeast.

Pretty much all my ideas hinge on you having access to an oven or stovetop though.

I do have access to an oven and I've never tried to make bagels myself before, that sounds amazing. I only have self-raising flour, do you know if that is likely to affect the process much?

Shouldn't be too much of a problem, I don't think. You might wind up with airier bagels than you bargained for, but I don't think anyone ever looked down on that.

Google recipes. There should be tons out there.

How about instead of telling us what you don't have, you could tell us what you do have. Maybe then we can figure our something tasty. Because right now, I am at a loss. That's a lot of missing staples.

Tell me about it! I'm making some very quick bagels tonight and I'm sure I'll be able to cobble together something to fill them with in the morning, so I think I'm all sorted :)

I honestly can't think of anything, sorry...

Maybe next time you go shopping you could buy some ready-made stuff, if time is an issue? Like waffles or pancakes, breakfast sausages, that sort of thing. You probably don't need to be told this, though. Er...yea. :( I don't usually cook for breakfast because I'm super lazy in the morning, and everything I'd suggest uses one of those ingredients. (Good luck with your bagels!)

Do you have any stores near enough that you could hit them en route? Not even grocery stores- anywhere that has snack foods, even a gas station or college vending machine, is somewhere where you might be able to grab a cold pop-tart, granola bar, protein bar, or maybe even a cereal bar.

It wouldn't be the best breakfast, but it beats showing up to class hungry.
