Got that right. Although I did love how Star Trek DS9 handled it with Nana Visitor. Of course it's not every franchise that can use the excuse of baby got into the wrong womb. The only thing they did wrong was not making it yet another Trek transporter accident that caused it. Because I can not get enough of transporter body-horror stories.

Like everything else it comes down to how they handle it. I've seen a lot of unexpected tv pregnancies handled well. Seen loads handled crap, but I have never yet seen a "hold this and try to sit behind that" do it well.

Yes, that's my absolute favourite! They didn't ignore the pregnancy, but didn't force a character into being a mother when it wouldn't make sense for her.
