Silk Stalkings, back in the day. It was like SVU before there was SVU. They tried to hide it with plants and desks for too long, then suddenly the character is heavily pregnant for her partner, then partner gets shot up by some mob boss, and the next week, the leads have been completely replaced.

Pretty much. I don't know how the show scraped on as long as wikipedia says it did because after that, nobody cared.
