tbf it seems they have only shown the pilot over and over in my area so far. I *want* to like it, but, meh. It's either an early adapter knockoff of The Following (which I'm still meh on as well, and I *really* want to like that one), or weird synchronicity, or it's a sign of times to come, that the next big "TV trend" will be All Teh Kults, which, not sure if want.

Plus, it (Cult) seems way way too tryhard to me. At least The Following is a bit creepier in that you just don't know HOW the leader has control over all these people, and it could be absolutely anyone in the street at all. (Or *SPOILERS* even the local law enforcement/military that are supposed to be helping the main characters.)

Funny you should ask!

I was quite fond of the pilot but thought it dropped way down in the second episode. I don't expect it to last, but I'm intrigued enough to keep watching it until it's inevitable cancellation.

That sucks about the 2nd episode. Ah well. Thanks for linking your review! I don't honestly expect it to last either because it's got way too much of that "I'll throw this cool thing in and never explain it later because it's just the gimmick-of-the-series see," vibe going for it.

Also for some strange reason the show reminds me of the 1990s miniseries Wild Palms. (No IDGI either.) Only without the near-future cool stuff in it.
