i'm sorry? but that's just how it is. sense of humor does have a lot to do with intelligence, maturity, level of education and so forth. culture as well, but certainly you can't just blame your juvenile sense of humor on being american.

Like somthing silly that should have been taken as a dumb joke, just a low-brow groaner, just sailing under the head of somone who takes themselves too seriously?
