Was there another anon with an FTM SO issue? Because I had a big ass thread about it and did not make the above comment. And in my case its not as cut and dried, sorry to rain on your parade.

We're still together, but I'm not ready to be talking in terms of "him" and "boyfriend," and I'm not sure how it's going to be once transitioning is able to go beyond looking kind of androgynous. Sometimes it's tough, but we're still clicking.

I almost wish we could just say goodbye to everyone we know (not all of them really know yet) and just go someplace brand new where we didn't know anybody and just see how things were, you know? But we can't, so we're in this eternal "so how it goes" loop.

I never said I was you. I made a thread about an abusive ci-gendered boyfriend, who everyone told me to dump a few months back. I stayed with him.

Huh, so you're bisexual/a lesbian who's girlfriend decided to get a sex change? Personally I could never date a FTM. I'd call the person 'him' or I'd say 'his' 'Mr', etc, basically I would consider the person a man, but I just...could never be in a romantic relationship with one.

No, I'm a straight guy whose girlfriend is about to be a transitioning FTM. I wouldn't normally be with a guy but we've got history, you know? For now it seems different. Maybe it won't once the physical changes really start, idk.

Is he going to have surgery eventually? Hm. I think there's two ways you can have a penis, a clitoral surgery or a grafted on penis (that doesn't have sensation) I guess that would be the hardest thing to get used to...unless you really like anal sex.

Good luck, it does seem to be a really tough situation you're in. :(
