Stupid question - TWOP
(Anonymous) 2013-03-08 02:02 am (UTC)(link)I feel like the answer should obviously be yes, but at the same time it seems most of the people there just want to discuss (and bitch about) shows but aren't into the things that I usually think of as "fannish" (such as fic/art/etc).
Like, if a show had no fandom on LJ/Tumblr/Twitter (idk if Twitter even counts, because honestly outside of LJ and Tumblr I'm not really sure what sites are considered "fandom spaces") would you consider the people posting about it there to be "the fandom"? A lot of times it's the only place I can find discussion for some shows, but it's hard to gauge whether or not the people there really represent the opinions of "the fandom" when it's the only place people are even talking about it.
Hopefully this makes some sort of sense...

(Anonymous) 2013-03-08 04:16 am (UTC)(link)But yes I'd say it's reasonable to call it fandom.
