Don't most people hate both of those shows? I've even seen Family Guy making fun of them, and that show would probably make the best argument for Americans having bad taste in comedy.

They have a lot of vocal haters but they are huge in the ratings, so there are people watching them. I definitely know Big Bang Theory fans, Two and a half men is more of a mystery to me because I don't know one person who watches it.

Now whether or not the Nielson ratings system is accurate is where things are debatable, but people still watch those shows.

I honestly don't care what people watch I just wish the comedies I liked did better, especially since what is popular tends to determine the type of shows that get picked up.
