But please stop with the Scouts. Mixing info from the two versions is confusing.
Stop right there. This bossy faux-elitist attitude needs to stop. I'll call them whatever I like and you should get over it.

Anyway:
Michiru isn't a saint. You say "will of steel" but I just see an ice queen. Like someone said earlier, she's catty if not passive aggressive. The I see it, she's a quiet and passive character that offers nothing but to be "Haruka's gf <3". Even her wiki pages offer nothing more to her, and that is just sad. I'm not fond of the idea of how this character is being used. All in all, I just don't give a fuck if she had some stand-out moments. It doesn't change my view of Michiru or really excuse her.

I guess you could say I'm justifying a ship, but I read this as "Michiru gets in the way" rather than anything else. This is OP btw.

I'm confused - you are saying you see an ice queen, someone who is catty and passive-aggressive and then you turn around and say she has no character at all. That is her character. She's quiet, standoffish, proud, arrogant, and with an iron will. Also, I don't see anyone calling her a saint. She is not. She's mean, driven and very much dedicated to what she was given to do, cost be damned. She is the foil to Usagi's "is there is no solution my woobie heart accepts, I will invent the solution and make it happen!" much more than Haruka.

You may not like how her character is being used, and that's fair, you don't have to like her, obviously, but you can't say "oh, she has no character, because there is nothing on her wiki page." Introverts are people, too.

Elitism has nothing to do with it. It's about accuracy and clarity. Haruka and Michiru are not "Scouts." If you want your opinions to be taken seriously, you can't say "I'll call them whatever I like." If you were talking about Amara and Michelle, it would have been fine to call them Scouts. I don't care if you're a dub fan as long as you can keep your shit straight.

And wow, you're full of shit. People are giving you clear arguments about your bias against Michiru, and all you do is go "LA LA LA I CAN'T HEAR YOU" and only to me. Because I questioned why you mixed Japanese and dub terms. (By the way, thank you to the anon for the info about the South American dub. Did not know that.)
