What is with all the unecessarily long-winded secrets lately?

it's fucked up friday, where secrets require lengthy explanations to explain the depths of horror

Don't be harshing on all the OPs' verbal fountains of shame.

Though seriously I didn't notice I was skipping and skimming a lot of these lately until you mentioned it.

You know that actually would be a pretty sight to see. Just a herd of blue-green deer running around in an open field. And then I want other techno-colored forest creatures. Fuchsia raccoons. Indigo bears. Lemon yellow rabbits. Kelly green squirrels. It would be like a rave in the woods minus the glo-sticks. Though that's what the fireflies would be for. A Greek blue moose could DJ. Dub step in the animal kingdom.

Well, you have to consider that people often like to talk a lot and say things that sound nice. This is especially true the things they want to say are secrets, which are often things they've been not saying. So when you consider that people like to talk a lot and they have not been saying something that's been on their mind, they tend to say more to compensate for the time that they have not been saying what is on their mind. This sort of repression of feelings leads to unnecessarily long-winded secrets that say much more than they mean to say and often seem to be talking in circles.

However, I do not think you should demean the various OPs of those secrets, because they were holding on to those feelings, or feels as some of those hip kids like to call them. TL;DR implies that those feelings are invalid and we shouldn't be taking those feelings seriously. I think, for one, that we should take all secrets equally seriously as the OP of the secret obviously feels strongly about the subject at hand because of the TL;DR in the secret. This, of course, does not apply when the secret is a troll secret.

Troll secrets, on the other hand, undermine the true value of feelings placed by a proper TL;DR secret. Taking such secrets seriously diverts attention from actual feelings. Furthermore, troll secrets are all falsehood and kind of gross, so don't touch them because you might get sick and die. That would be very bad. I don't want you to die.

Finally, while when s!b is added to a TL;DR, this further shows the type of repression a TL;DR anon is going through. While something along the lines "I have a strong inclination towards breakfast food" may not seem like a very notable addition. It actually is. This is because the TL;DR anon's brain is so warped because of the secret they're holding that they're trying to find any excuse to tell it. This is why all TL;DR secrets should be thoroughly read and thoughtfully responded to.
