People usually have long ranty paragraphs describing why they hate a certain pairing. But do you have any pairings that you hate, but you can't figure out the reason for your hatred?

John/Sherlock. I know why many others hate it, but none of those reasons apply to me. It's especially baffling because I ship every other version Holmes/Watson.

Sirius Black/Severus Snape

I like them as rivals, but once hatesex or even romance enters the equation I'm out

Grissom/Sara in CSI.

I genuinely have no idea why I hate them so much. I love both of the characters individually. I don't ship either of them with anybody else. I've never had any particularly bad experiences with the fandom.

Can. Not. Stand them together. I don't even just skip their episodes when I'm watching box sets. I make a point of actively stabbing the skip button and tutting loudly even when I'm home alone. Why?? I'm a mystery to myself.

Gus/Shawn from Psych.

Gus deserves so much better than Shawn.

This is for pairings you can't explain why you hate them.

Erica/Isaac in Teen Wolf. I ship SO MANY pairings and combinations of characters in Teen Wolf, but just can't with them, Idek why. I really like both, though.

Same. I don't know why but it just doesn't work for me.

Charles/Erik from XMFC. Just...no idea why, because normally I'm all about the behemoth pairings in my fandoms. :/

Ditto. I love them as a pairing in the comics and pre-XMFC movies, but for some reason it doesn't work for me in XMFC.

I'm exactly the same. I think this is the first behemoth pairing I've never not liked.

That's interesting. Totally legitimate, but interesting, because of my experience with that movie. While I wasn't at all emotionally invested in the Charles/Erik pairing (or either of the characters involved in it, honestly), I just sort of expected them to start making out all over my screen. It seemed to be where the movie was going. It was like, I didn't especially want to see them kiss, but I was always a little surprised when they didn't. Is that weird?

Oh my god I was exactly the same. I didn't have any desire to ship them at all, they didn't make me go squee or anything, but I managed to completely forget, at several points in the movie, that they weren't actually canonically romantically involved. So weird.

Janeway/Chakotay from Voyager. I mean, yeah, I like J/7, but I also like multi-shipping and OT3s, so that's not entirely why. It is a mystery.

Shawn/Juliet, but I only dislike the pairing when it's just the two of them. I like Shawn/Gus/Juliet/Lassiter just fine. Go figure.

I really can't stand Snape/anybody pairings (and they're so common ;____;). Not a clue why, as I like Snape's character.
