I really like the beat to it, but if it were an actual anime I probably wouldn't watch it. I get why it's getting so much attention though; unabashed fanservice geared towards the female demographic isn't here in anime.

Isn't it going to be a real anime now? I only saw like 3-4 GIFs of it and people chatting about it. But that is what I heard.

No official word from what I can find.

If it ever becomes an actual anime, I will watch the hell out of it.

A friend and I have been using it as our new unit of measurement. Like, I'll be 10 swimming animes.

My dash was covered in it and untagged for the most part so I couldn't even blacklist it. I got tired of it after about an hour.

You need to follow people who tag their shit.

It would be interesting to see KyoAni do something that has hot bishies rather than cute girls and homoerotic subtext rather than lesbian subtext.

Probs not gonna happen, though.

I love the commercial and the meme. I doubt an actual anime will happen.

I'd watch it, I've always wanted more shows that are basically genderswapped moeblob slice of life shows with nice animation. There are many of those shows with all-girl casts, it's time for one for fujoshi/danshi.

My favourite KyoAni show is K-ON, which is THE one people bring up as dumb moeshit, but I love it so much.

ngl I would probably check it out just for the subtext and then get bored because anything sports related puts me to sleep.

It's also geared towards the gay man. That'll widen it's sales potential.

...Hum, this is my first time seeing the video but yes, I probably would watch it. Sports usually bore me but a cast of wet sexy anime guys sounds right up my alley.

I want it. I potently want it. I'm already pretty sure I'll be all over red-head goofball and moeblob-blondie-with-surprisingly-impressive-biceps.

There's rumors that it was actually picked up to become a series, and a voiced video of the original commercial was released. Can't say it's 100% real but I'm hoping.

I'd be interested in seeing the voiced video if you have a link.

I don't know if I'd watch a whole series of it myself, but I kinda want it to become a series just for all the beautiful fanboy tears it would cause. Watching the moe fans lose their shit because "OMG fanservice for girls nooo" amuses me.

Yeah that's why I'd probably love it. I'd get fanservice and fanboy tears of impotence in one shot. It'd be glorious.

When I first saw a screencap of it, my thought process was sorta like this:
