Okay there are actually two ridiculous things that happened at work today:

1) A patient told me I was taking her blood pressure wrong because "she knew her blood pressure" and "the cuff was never this tight before". She then started to move her arm and complain loudly when I was nearly done which lead to me having to repeat the process.

2) A former patient called the ward and wanted medical advice from us (nurses). She told us that cysts had been discovered in her stomach and that she wanted to know if they could cause cancer. Apparently she asked her family doctor and she said they wouldn't. She didn't like the answer and she apparently liked even less that we couldn't give her any advice since she wouldn't accept that either. This went on for about 10 minutes. It was also 9PM xD
