You specified unemployed. That implies financial impediments.

And where did "financial impediments" turn into "should refuse birthday gifts in favour of food" for you?
Does "unemployed" imply that it has never crossed my mind to ask friends and families for help should I ever not be able to buy food? Or that I don't know how to prioritize and if I could just learn to lay off the luxuries everything would be better? I know, I know, rhetorical... for some people it really does, but that doesn't make it right.




For the record, I specified unemployed because it is harder to maintain a daily routine when you don't have a job.
